“Death With Dignity (Demo)” is out today – the second single from Sufjan Stevens’ upcoming Carrie & Lowell – 10th Anniversary Edition. Last month marked the 10th anniversary of Sufjan Stevens’ Carrie & Lowell, and Asthmatic Kitty Records is celebrating with the release of Carrie & Lowell – 10th Anniversary Edition on May 30. The anniversary edition features the original album plus seven previously unreleased demo versions, a 40-page art book, an alternate cover and a new essay by Sufjan. Following “Mystery of Love (Demo),” this newly released demo version of “Death With Dignity” – the song that helped define Carrie & Lowell as the first track on the album – is now available to stream in its earliest form.
